This year for Christmas My family and I had all of our family down. All my sisters were here. Our Christmas eve was really fun. We played with Santa hats and we read The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Its the best Christmas book ever. We read it every year. Meagen was down with Derek and Brookelyn. Shawna was down with James. And Jackie was down with no one. We had lots of food to. You gotta have the food. So this year for Christmas I got a coyote call, clothes, pomegranates, a white board with all the stuff that goes with it and some of other stuff.
Then on Christmas day we headed out for Colorado. It is a 9 to 8 hour drive it depends on how fast you go, and the weather. WE followed a snow plow for an hour on the way. Then i feel asleep. But then i woke up in this canyon and it was beautiful. The trees were covered in snow, it was like those movies you see and the know is just two inches thick on the trees. We got there at 12:30 and our cousin Jake talked to us till 2:00. We we really tired that morning. The first day we were there we Shot clay pigeans for more then an hour. It was pretty fun. Then the next day we went coyote calling with my dad and James and Jake. We were being to loud so we didn't see any coyotes. But on the way there we had a buck jump out of the brush right in front of us. It was pretty cool. We got to the clump of trees and there must have been twenty doe's in there. And about 4 bucks in there. It was pretty neat. Then we had to walk on this river that was frozen. The ice was about 1 foot thick. So we skated on it for awhile. Then on the way back to grandmary's there were 4 more bucks in this big feild. There was a huge one i couldn't really see the horns from that far away. But the other three were pretty big to. I was so exited. Then i wondered why when you are hunting you don't see very many then when its over, they are all over the place.
That night Grandmary and Grampa had their Golden Anaversary. It was so neat. All of our cousins were there. We had a blast. We had every body tell about a special memory they had with Grandmary and Grampa. Then they had this cute slide show. It was really neat. Then after it was all over we had this huge pitch party. But i got to play with all of the younger cousins. It was a really nice trip.
But Christmas is a really good holiday family and the spirit it is amazing. I had a really good Christmas this year. Giving and just every thing is just fun. My favorite part of Christmas is all of the lights. It brightens up the season. I just love it and i hope you had a Merry Christmas and Hope you have a happy New YEar.
